My migraines wipe me out for hours does that count as a ‘prostrating’ attack?

Medically speaking, a prostrating migraine is one that causes such extreme exhaustion, weakness, or functional impairment that you are forced to stop what you’re doing and lie down. In VA terms, “prostrating” generally means: - You have to lie down in a dark, quiet room - You cannot continue working or performing normal activities - You experience severe pain, nausea, light sensitivity, or sound sensitivity - The attack lasts for hours or longer - You are essentially incapacitated during the episode. If your migraines “wipe you out for hours” and you are unable to function, that often meets the functional definition of a prostrating attack.
